vs. Vampires

Seventeen years. Before the shadows of despair blanketed our world, most of humanity was unaware of the evil forces that thrived in the darkness. There were certainly some – mostly outcasts and the unwanted of society – who recognized the plague of vampires that threatened our very existence. However, it is safe to say that over 99% of the global population did not believe that an evil such as the children of Nosferatu could be more than stories.

The world’s eyes were opened wide late on the night of Halloween seventeen years ago. In that moment, Count Orlok – the fiendish vampire known to most as Nosferatu – was murdered by hunters of the undead, freeing all from his evil. But it was his death that doomed us all. We, the hunters, were unaware of Orlok’s curse.

vs. Vampires is, as you may have guessed, a stand-alone roleplaying game based on the vs. Monsters mechanics. Whether or not it is more than that will depend entirely on you and your game group. Will this work provide you with hours of entertainment, or will you toss it aside and forget its existence, leaving it for future generations to puzzle over? I am guessing you’ll take the second option.
